Easter Egg Containers

Holy Easter sneaked up on me!  I was painting cabinets today and realized that Sunday is Easter.  Where did March go?  Luckily I realized today and didn’t wake up Sunday with a child wondering why the Easter bunny hadn’t come to visit.  In fact, today was the first time I’ve even mentioned to her that the Easter bunny is coming on Sunday.  A Target trip is in order tomorrow for this mother of the year.
Anyway, since there will be a lot of Easter egg dyeing going on this weekend, I wanted to share a cute quick Easter egg container upcycle perfect for holding all of those colorful masterpieces, or as a place setting at an Easter table.

Cut a section of a large, flat egg carton off with an exacto knife.  The beauty of this is that you can make it any size you want.
Get some paint, a paint brush, and your egg carton and paint it.

That’s it.  Simple as that.
Perfect for an Easter place setting or…

To display all of those colorful masterpieces:
And since I promised earlier this week, here’s the full Easter vignette.
