Are you hosting the big dinner at your house? I’m excited to say that I am NOT–hallelujah! But as you read this, I’m currently driving nine hours to the in-laws house with a crazy dog and a four-year-old. I’m probably listening to Little Mermaid on her third or fourth loop on the DVD player, yes, once upon a time we traveled without electronics, but then my daughter got wise, and I got, well, for the love of God just give me anything that will get us there with our sanity intact. It’s fun, I genuinely love the family time, but the “are we there yet?” literally starts almost as soon as we pull out of the driveway, and the first bathroom break starts three freeway exits from our house–NOT. JOKING. However, just for the record, everything I included in the “Electronics Free” post worked WONDERFULLY from the time she was about a year old to about three and a half, so I still consider it great advice. But kids grow, and mom’s get lazy relax a little.
Enough with the road trip ramblings though, lets move onto the point of this post, shall we? I thought I’d give you a little round-up of all of my Thanksgiving posts from the past, neatly in one place and perfect for last minute (literally, you could make all of these in less than 30 minutes):
I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving full of family, love, laughter, and GREAT FOOD!
