Yep, today it’s one last Mother’s Day gift idea – A Year of Memories! I mentioned the other day, when it comes to Mother’s Day, I’m the small, sentimental gift type, so I had this little idea that I thought other moms would love (I know I would). It’s something she can look at all year, and in my humble opinion, it’s really meaningful. I started thinking of all of the memories I have with my mom, all of the things I loved about her, and thought, “how awesome would it be to tell her a favorite memory/something we love about her, every week for a whole year?”
So that’s just what I did. I created 52 note cards, along with a title card that she can set on her desk or her dresser. Whether it’s a mom with grown kids, little kids, or even a grandma or someone who has filled that mom role in your life, I think she’ll love to look at all of those little memories and things you love about her. Did that just sound like an infomercial? I kind of feel like it did. That’s how much I love this little idea, if I do say so myself And I thought it would be fun to start this with my own daughter this year and see the funny, sweet things she says and do them every year to see how things grow and change. And, you know, it’s a great little pick-me-up for the roughly 30 times a day that I’m “so mean.”
There are four different options, and you can fill out one for each month, one for each week. Let mom know how much she rocks and remind her of all of the times she kicked a** at the whole mom thing! Link to download is below. Enjoy!
