Happy Monday! I hope you all had a fabulous Easter Weekend! We took the three and half hour trek to our college town to spend the weekend helping my husband’s fraternity put on an annual Easter Egg Hunt they do for the city, hanging with old friends, and showing our daughter the place that will always be our second home. I don’t know what it is, but even after being gone for 10 years, that place still has the biggest piece of my heart!
You know what else I did this weekend? Realized that I am SO not as young as I used to be. It’s Monday morning and I feel like I’m still recovering. You know, from the four drinks and two midnight nights I had this weekend. I’m such a party animal It’s such a bummer when you start to realize that you just ain’t what you used to be. But there’s also something glorious about having no shame in your 11:30 bedtime game. Also, there’s a random picture of books here because I found a whole shelf of them in the library and now I can’t stop thinking about this peachy goodness, so I had to share!! I’m now on the hunt for US Department of the Interior Reports, which I’m sure, make for some seriously exciting reading.
Anyway, while I nurse my wimpy, exhaustion, old-lady hangover today, I thought I’d share a pretty little spring printable with you. You may have seen this picture on Instagram the other day, but there’s something about it that still just makes me happy when I look at it, so I thought I’d share it with all of you. Our trees still haven’t quite popped here yet, and I loved these bright green little pods on the trees just waiting to burst. A happy little pop of Spring for your walls–especially if you live out West where we’re supposed to be getting SNOW again this week (whomp, whomp )
