Fall Home Tour – Blogger Stylin’ Home Tours

It’s that wonderful season of boots, scarves, sweaters, cool weather, changing colors, and of course, all things pumpkin!! #PSLforLife right? It really is my very favorite time of year. I think if I could pick only one season, it would be fall, hands down. I love that feeling of the craziness of summer winding down (although, man I love summer too), and cozy nights inside with family, snuggled on the couch with a blanket and the sound of a football game in the background. Anyway, I’ll finish my love letter to fall later, let’s get onto what you really came for, shall we?

If you’re coming over from Simple Stylings, welcome! Isn’t Summer’s style fabulous? Thank you to Lindsay for inviting me and hosting another amazing year of fall home tours. You can start at the beginning of the tour with her home at White Buffalo Styling Co. (I ADORE her style–and her for that matter ;) ) Welcome to our little home.

Fall Home Tour 2 MyFabulessLife.com

If you’re new around here, I’m Jenn. I live on the outskirts of Salt Lake City with my husband and daughter. We bought our little home about seven years ago and quickly discovered the world of DIY, mostly out of necessity and budget, but it’s something that we’ve come to love. There’s always a project (or five) going on around here and we’ve spent a lot of time trying to turn our little builders grade, tan box into a home that is uniquely ours. Everything is VERY open, so there’s been a lot of trial and error in getting everything to flow and jive and every inch of space counts, since we don’t have a whole lot. You can find more of our home here, but for now, let me give you a little tour of what fall looks like around here—and I’ll let the pictures do most of the talking.

Our entry table is a recent DIY that I’ll be sharing next week. It’s a $30 Ikea desk with a face lift and the difference it made in this space is CRAZY! The printers tray is filled with treasures from family vacations, hikes, basically just cool stuff we’ve found in nature. If you’re new here, it won’t take you long to figure out that vintage maps and globes are MY JAM! These two are from my Grandpa’s days in the forest service. Local cross country skiing trails (remember, I live in Utah) and one of our National forests. I LOVE tying cool local flavor into my decor.

I think all I need to say here is FELT. BALLS. Fuzzy balls of happiness.

Moving into the living room. Mostly just a pillow change up and lots of cozy, chunky blankets and throws. Target is totally speaking my language (and emptying my wallet) this season with all their plaid!

Little kitchen tip: I have a super long counter, and could never seem to find a tray that didn’t look puny, until…I used a boot tray from Target. Perfect fit!

I absolutely loved all the tours this week, but I loved yours SO much it’s the only one I felt compelled to comment on! I love your dark slate walls combined with all the neutral + lovely Fall. My hubby and I are planning a mini home makeover and thanks to your tour I now have a visual to share with him of the look & feel I’d like to accomplish. What a wonderful last stop for the best week of the year! Well done!
