Happy Monday my friends! I hope you had a fabulous weekend! It was 70 degrees and Spring was in full swing here! I even got a sunburn–it was glorious. And guess what? We’re supposed to have snow on Wednesday. So it goes. Today I’ve got another little five minute project for you that’s perfect for Easter dinner this Sunday, or just a Spring brunch: DIY Pom Pom Napkin Rings. I mean it’s pom poms, and in my book, pom poms make everything better, so these are great for any time of the year if you ask me. After my Christmas garland with these big fluffy beauties, my obsession has only grown. And they’re super easy, so even if you’re seeing this on the day you’re expecting your guests, chances are, you have time to pull them together. Especially if you’re a yarn hoarder like me. What don’t I hoard? We’ll address that another day.
You may recognize these from my Easter Kids table I shared a couple of weeks ago. When I was setting that table, and had bunnies on the brain, my thoughts immediately turned to pom poms. Because fluffly bunny tails. Right? So here’s what you need to make your own:

Yarn (I got mine at Joann’s, I believe it was Red Heart Bulky) for pom poms — this is how you make these fabulously fluffy ones (my new obsession)
Twine or string of your choice
Once you’ve made your pom poms, simply cut a piece of twine–long enough to wrap around the napkin twice–and string it through the middle of the pom pom with the needle.
Lay the pom pom on the front of the napkin, wrap the twine around the back, bring it to the front and tie it off. You can slide the knot under the pom pom so you can’t see it and leave the cute little ends dangling.
And there you have it. Super simple napkin rings for your Easter table.
I love slipping just a little sprig of greenery in when I set a place, it adds some color and life. These are from my boxwood bushes (which I specifically planted so I could clip them and use them for decor–is that weird?), and clippings from trees work great too.
