Simple Christmas Centerpiece

I’m so honored and excited to be part of my friend Jessica’s 25 Days of Christmas series with all of these other talented ladies!
Today I’m sharing a quick centerpiece, for your Christmas dinner table that requires nothing more than gathering some things you probably have around the house and your yard.

I started with a scrap of gold polka dot burlap, and played off of the metallic of the gold dots in the runner and the green of the branches.  I started by grabbing some gold and mercury glass votive holders and silver snowflake tea light holders I had.

Then I pulled out a few vases that are various heights and filled the vases with some evergreen branches (trimmings from my window garland). A few twigs sit in a vase on top of some old books.

I put some ornaments on top of an old olive oil bottle and another on one of the tea light holders (because I couldn’t find a third tea light — reality folks), and lots of other candles to give it that special Christmas feel.

The tall white candles are from the dollar store and I wrapped them with jewelry wire (in advent colors) to dress them up a bit (ribbon or twine would work great too).

I love doing collections like this, because it gives you a chance to pull out some of your favorite stuff and show it off (my milk glass for example), which also makes it totally you, it costs nothing, and it’s perfect when you’re in a last-minute scramble because you already have everything you need.

You can check out TONS of other Christmas inspiration from all of these other super talented ladies!  (And there are lots of quick projects to make your Holiday guests “Oooo and Ahhh!” over your Christmas home. And thank you to the lovely Jessica at Dear Emmeline for hosting!
